UFC Fight Night Winnipeg will feature a Main Event between former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (RDA) who has moved up a weight class and wants to become the new welterweight champion.

UFC President Dana White has already announced that the winner of this fight will get a title shot and be next in line to fight UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley who is currently injured.

Winnipeg MMA fans will be thrilled with the stacked card. A total of 13 fights will take place in the Octagon and 4 of them will be on the Main Card. We take a look at some of those fights below.

Jose Aldo vs. Ricardo Lamas: Lamas lost his last fight with Aldo and will be looking to even the score as Aldo lost his last match which was a title fight against current champion Max Holloway. Lamas won his last fight against Jason Knight and will be full of confidence as many believe that Jose Aldo is not the same fighter he was after losing to Conor McGregor.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Mike Perry: This could end up being the fight of the night and thrilling fans in Winnipeg as it is bound to be a slug fest. Ponzinibbio and Perry’s last fights ended by KO in the first round and both fighters will come out swinging once again.

Glover Teixeira vs. Misha Cirkunov: This will be an interesting fight due to the different styles. Teixeira is known for his BJJ while Cirkunov has stunning KO power. Teixeira and Cirkunov are coming off losses and will be eager to get a win in the Octagon.
