Chicago briefly threatened late in the game, cutting Toronto’s lead to 98-96 with just over three minutes remaining.
However, the Tempo responded with an 8-2 run to regain control. Mabrey hit a step-back jumper to steady the team before Nayara Sabally extended the lead with a three-pointer that effectively sealed the result.

Chicago’s Taylor Scored 27 Points
Chicago was led by Sydney Taylor, who scored a season-high 27 points. Skylar Diggins contributed 23 points and nine assists, while Natasha Cloud added 18 points and nine assists in a strong but ultimately unsuccessful effort for the Sky.
Toronto set the tone early, building a 55-48 halftime lead after shooting 58 percent in the first half and dominating the boards. The Tempo then opened the third quarter with an 11-4 run to stretch their advantage to 66-52.
The win continues Toronto’s momentum as they prepare to host Seattle on Saturday, while Chicago remains at home to face Minnesota in their next outing.
