2020 NFL Conference Championship Games Betting Odds and Predictions

American Football Conference & National Football ConferenceThe 2020 NFL Season is in nearing the end of its post-season playoffs, and that has punters and oddsmakers paying close attention to the front runners in the AFC and NFC.

Currently, four teams remain in the hunt for a spot in the Super Bowl. This includes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.

This past weekend saw Green Bay gaining the advantage over the Rams, while the Bill’s succeeding in putting the Ravens in their place with a 13-3 victory.

The weekend also saw a tight battle between the Browns and Chiefs, while the battle between Tampa Bay and New Orleans went down to the wire.

That said, prediction and odds annalists will be kept busy heading into next weekends action as the Buffalo Bills take on the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Green Bay Packers will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Considering past performances during the regular and post-season, it is worth looking closer at the two upcoming battles as we get closer to the two teams that will head to the Super Bowl.

2020 NFL Conference Championship Games Analysis

Odds have been provided by Bet365 and are accurate as of 18/01/2021

Green Bay Packers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

(Sunday, Jan 24th, 15:05 PM ET)

No one can argue having Tom Brady as your quarterback gives you a serious advantage, regardless of who you are facing. After going back and forth in a tight battle, Brady’s consistent throwing made the difference and was enough to edge ahead of the Saints and give Tampa the win. The bottom line is Tampa outplayed New Orleans, and that was evident by the three turnovers and two interceptions Tampa turned into touchdowns.

As for Green Bay, this is a serious contender for a position in the Super Bowl. With Arron Rogers as their star quarterback, the Buccaneers can expect to work hard if they want to keep advancing. As always, Rogers is a threat to contend with, one that was instrumental in beating the Rams 32-18 on Sunday. Adding to the arsenal in favour of Green Bay is Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, both top of league receivers who have proven themselves during the regular and post-season.

Prediction: Green Bay Packers to win
Odds to Win: Green Bay Packers (-3.5) -110 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) -110

Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs

(Sunday, Jan 24th, 18:40 ET)

Once again, the Kansas City Chiefs are favourites to go the distance this year and make it to the Super Bowl. After defeating the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, it only strengthens their position going into next weekend. While Kansas may have lost Patrick Mahomes after he suffered a concussion, the power behind their defence is enough to get the job done. There is no doubt Chad Henne played a big part in the Chiefs earning a victory and while being without Mahomes hurts, wide receiver Tyreek Hill will make the job of Chad Henne next weekend that much easier.

For their part, Buffalo will rely heavily on Josh Allen, who once again was integral in helping the Bills defeat the Ravens on Sunday. With the help of Taron Johnson, the Bills will be in a tight race against the Chiefs. That said, Johnson’s return and touchdown in the third quarter was one of the longest in the NHL history. The bottom line is, Buffalo will need to see its defence step up as it did against Baltimore, and with a bit of luck, the Bills could unseat the favoured Chiefs when the two meet next Sunday.

Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs to win
Odds to Win: Buffalo Bills (+3.5) -110 | Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) -110
