The Tottenham Spurs and Arsenal F.C League Cup match on Wednesday ended with the Sours coming away with a 2-0 victory, but it was not without drama after Dele Alli was hit on the head by a bottle that came from the stands.

The midfielder was stuck while trying helping Tottenham secure their 2-0 victory over Arsenal F.C and earn a place in the League Cup semifinal. The bottle, in this case was plastic and thrown from the crowd in attendance in relational against Alli after an earlier incident with Arsenal goaltender Petr Cech. Three weeks earlier Tottenham has lost to Arsenal and yesterday’s win was revenge, and with Arsenal losing to Southampton the Sunday before, they have lost the last two matches after going 22 games without a defeat.

With the win, the Spurs are in contention in four different fronts including Chelsea and Man City. There run in the F.A cup begins in January, then there is the Champions League last 16 and the Premier League. They will next face Everton on Sunday before meeting Bournemouth on the 26th.
