“I’m actually really happy with how my body’s holding up. The only thing that’s a problem is now my shoulder is pretty tight. I’ve been seeking treatment. It’s not too bad.”

Kenin and Andreescu each seemed to struggle in controlling their first serves. However, Andreescu managed to reak the American three times in the opening set to give her the first set win. She repeated that is the second set and after a double fault by Kenin during the final point, Andreescu walked away with the win.

While she had some first serve difficulties, Andreescu nailed 55% of her first serves whereas Kenin only managed 40%.
