While they won the last time the two played and were able to win their division, it is one they will have a hard time this year retaining.<\/p>\n<p>The big question will be how <strong>Khalil Mack<\/strong> and the rest of the Bears will be able to stop Green Bay\u2019s offense. A part of that will lie in their ability not to let Aaron Rogers control the game and stop him when he is most dangerous, that being his ability to extend plays. Chicago\u2019s success also will lie in how they use <strong>Tarik Cohen<\/strong> and <strong>David Montgomery<\/strong> in the backfield, and whether they can relieve pressure off <strong>Mitchell Trubisky<\/strong>, letting him focus on the passing side of the game.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"green-bay-packers\">Green Bay Packers<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Odds to Win:<\/strong> +3.5<\/p>\n<p>This is the second consecutive season the Packers will begin their season against the Chicago Bears, one they won last season. Green Bay will be looking to repeat that on Thursday, especially knowing that the stats dictate the winner often is the one to go on and win the Super Bowl. It will also be the third time they have had the opportunity to do so.<\/p>\n<p>After signing ex-Chicago Bear <strong>Adrian Amos<\/strong> during the off-season, Green Bay\u2019s strength will lie in their offense. Also big on their list of weapons is quarterback <strong>Aaron Rodgers<\/strong>, who has always been trouble for Chicago and played strong for most of his career. The main <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/robreischel\/2019\/08\/07\/packers-rodgers-and-lafleur-dont-see-eye-to-eye-on-joint-practices\/\">issue surrounding Rodgers will be how he gets on with Matt LaFleur<\/a>, the new coach of the Packers, brought in to help the team win more games. While a lot will ride on Rogers, he will have plenty of help from the likes of wide receiver <strong>Devonta Adams<\/strong>, offensive tackle <strong>David Bakhtiari<\/strong> and running back Aaron Jones.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"our-verdict-green-bay-packers-to-win\">Our Verdict: Green Bay Packers to win<\/h2>\n<p>Our prediction is Green Bay will take the win and most likely will sit atop Chicago in the NFC North.
