Instead, a <a href=\"https:\/\/canada-soccer-pressroom.prezly.com\/canada-soccer-releases-findings-of-independent-investigation-organizational-change-continues\">heavily redacted 36-point summary<\/a> was made public.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation found that Canadian players were unaware of the footage obtained at the Olympics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, <strong>a similar incident at Copa America in June led to Canada Soccer being fined<\/strong> after a drone incident, though the organization maintained the filming was for promotional purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Paris controversy emerged after New Zealand\u2019s Olympic Committee lodged a complaint with the IOC about drone activity during pre-tournament training sessions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This led to the immediate suspension and removal of Mander, Lombardi, and later Priestman.
