Sports Hall of Fame<\/strong> as part of its 2025 class.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 41-year-old Burnaby native continues to make headlines, recently scoring in the Portland Thorns\u2019 6-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betting.ca\/soccer\">CONCACAF W Champions Cup<\/a> that was played at the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame<\/a> has inducted 452 individuals and 69 teams. Once inducted, they all become the Hall\u2019s Honoured Members and Honoured Teams. Hall chair <strong>Tom Mayenknecht<\/strong> commented<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Honouring the past &#8212; and inspiring the future &#8212; is at the very heart of the mission of the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame. This year&#8217;s honourees truly exemplify the best of sport in this province and beyond<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The Class of 2025 will be celebrated at a gala in May when Sinclair\u2019s induction will mark another highlight in her otherwise extraordinary career.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having retired from international play last December, the player leaves an unparalleled legacy as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betting.ca\/news\/history-made-as-christine-sinclair-sets-international-goal-record\">all-time leading goal-scorer<\/a> for both men\u2019s and women\u2019s soccer, with 190 goals in 331 international appearances.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her tenure, <strong>Sinclair led Canada to three Olympic medals, one gold and two bronze<\/strong>, and was named <strong>Canada\u2019s Player of the Year on 14 different occasions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"11-other-prestigious-inductees-to-join-sinclair\">11 Other Prestigious Inductees to Join Sinclair<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinclair will be joined by former professional ice hockey player and current broadcaster for ESPN\/ABC <strong>Ray Ferraro<\/strong>, five-time undefeated Canadian National Downhill Champion <strong>Cindy Devine<\/strong>, one of Canada&#8217;s all-time greatest Rugby Sevens players, <strong>Nathan Hirayama<\/strong>, and S13 classified Canadian para swimmer <strong>Walter Wu<\/strong> who has competed and set records at the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Summer Paralympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The five athletes will be joined by builder-coaches <strong>Saul Miller<\/strong>, known for his contributions to sports psychology, <strong>Wes Woo<\/strong>, the assigned head coach of three Olympic Weightlifting Teams, and the late <strong>Chandra Madhosingh<\/strong> for her work in table tennis, along with the 2000 B.C. Lions in the team category.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the media category, long-time Hockey Night in Canada broadcaster <strong>Jim Hughson<\/strong> will be inducted, while the prestigious W.A.C.
