He was diagnosed with ALS in 2019 which is also referred to as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ninds.nih.gov\/health-information\/disorders\/amyotrophic-lateral-sclerosis-als\">Lou Gehrig&#8217;s disease.<\/a> His family has battled ALS as his cousin, 2 uncles and father also passed away from Lou Gehrig&#8217;s disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris battled ALS for the last few years with Kelsie at his side but things took a turn for the worse this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kelsie Snow also posted on X <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/NO7kBGyDzP\">pic.twitter.com\/NO7kBGyDzP<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Kelsie Snow (@kelsieswrites) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kelsieswrites\/status\/1707079338385133884?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 27, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In a post on X, Kelsie Snow wrote <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tests yesterday confirmed that Chris will not wake up. In life, Chris offered his body to a clinical trial to help others. In death he will do the same. He remains on life support while organ donation is arranged.
