There was no information provided given the terms and conditions of the deal or the final sale price. The acquisition of the Ottawa Senators will be subject to approval from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betting.ca\/hockey\/nhl\">National Hockey League<\/a> (NHL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How The Ottawa Senators Were Sold.\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NNTXgnC9S1E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the sale process is finalized and the NHL gives its official approval, Andlauer will take full control of operations for the Senators. <strong>Andlauer will own 90 percent of the Senators<\/strong> and the rest will be owned by some of his partners which includes <strong>Jeff York<\/strong> \u2013 a partner with the Farm Boy grocery chain and Ottawa based Malhotra family which run the Claridge Homes real estate development company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, Andlauer said <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>My family and I are very excited to be a part of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. The short and long-term future of the team is incredibly bright, and I look forward to getting to know the team, the fanbase and the community.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"senators-happy-to-choose-michael-andlauer\"><strong>Senators Happy To Choose Michael Andlauer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many Senators fans expected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betting.ca\/news\/snoop-dogg-to-rival-ryan-reynolds-for-ottawa-senators\">Neko Sparks and Snoop Dogg<\/a> to be favorites to win the bid but the Senators decided it was the right option to close the sale with Andlauer. One of the conditions for the bid was that the <strong>new owners will keep the Senators in Ottawa<\/strong> and Andlauer will do just that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, Senators governor <strong>Sheldon Plener<\/strong> said <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We are very pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement to sell controlling interest of the Senators to Michael Andlauer.
