Irving who plays for the <strong>Brooklyn Nets<\/strong> had earlier posted a link to a documentary on Twitter titled \u201c<em>Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America<\/em>\u201d that had strong anti-Semitic language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Irving immediately received criticism for endorsing anti-Semitic language and would later go on to take down the post.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adam-silver-to-meet-with-irving-soon\"><strong>Adam Silver To Meet With Irving Soon<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Brooklyn Nets and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adl.org\">Anti-Defamation League<\/a> (ADL) quickly look to put out the fire caused by Irving and confirmed that they would be <strong>donating $500,000 each to anti-hate causes<\/strong>. The ADL also released a statement condemning anti-Semitic speech but did not name Kyrie Irving in its statement nor did Irving issue an apology for endorsing anti-Semitic language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adam Silver<\/strong>, Commissioner for the NBA had to release a statement on the issue and said that Irving made a reckless decision to post the link to a documentary that had anti-Semitic language.
