All Price cared about was earning what would have been his first in a post-season start, and was one short for qualifying after the Red Sox succeeded in beating the Houston Astros<\/a> 7-5 on Sunday in Boston.<\/p>\n

Price insisted the win was bigger than David Price and that it was not about him, but about the Red Sox. Prices pitching was solid, but so to were the relievers and that was what counted, it was a team effort, from the pitching to the batters to the infield and the dugout.<\/p>\n

Jackie Bradley Jr\u2019s three-run double gave Boston its shining moment and what was needed to claim victory over Houston. In doing so, they tied the series 1-1 before returning to Houston for Game 3.<\/p>\n

Last night\u2019s win was a first for David Price, who had yet to play on a team in the post-season game that won when he was the starter. For Price, it is all about baby steps, commenting that<\/p>\n

\u201cI expect myself to be great in big moments, and I haven\u2019t done that thus far in my career. But I came here to win, period. I came here to win a World Series, and to do it multiple times. And that\u2019s what I\u2019m about.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
