It took over 90 minutes of sweat and frustration of Brazil struggling to break through the Costa Rican teams defences, but Brazil managed to pull off the win and give Brazil a 2-0 victory over Costa Rica.<\/p>\n

The game went scoreless until stoppage time went into effect. It was then that Brazil\u2019s Philippe Coutinho scored one minute into the stoppage to give Brazil<\/a> a 1-0 lead. It was only six minutes later when Neymar made it 2-0 and brought an end to Costa Rica\u2019s hopes of a draw.<\/p>\n

The resulting loss brought an end to Costa Rica<\/a> chances and they noe have been eliminated from the tournament and Brazil is a good position to advance to the next round of 16.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the responsibility he feels, Philippe Coutinho said,<\/p>\n

“The responsibility is huge when you are playing for the national team. You have to be mentally strong from the beginning until the end. We fought until the end and we were rewarded.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As the final whistle blew, Neymar, who had been struggling due to a broken bone in his foot he suffered several months ago, dropped to his knees crying, only to be lifted by his teammates. For Coutinho, he knew the struggles Neymar was facing and bad path he went through adding that Neymar\u2019s joy is contagious.<\/p>\n
