\"\"Success, scandals, and surgeries, Tiger Woods<\/a> <\/strong>has certainly experienced it all. Presently, the golfing legend is scripting a marvellous comeback story, which everyone would like to see end positively.<\/p>\n

The latest in Tiger Wood’s series of comeback bids \u2013 10 times to be more precise after layoffs of more than \u2013 managed to provide encouragement for his peers, golf experts, and fans alike. After undergoing surgery to his back a fourth time in April, Woods managed to return to golf competitively in the Hero World Challenge \u2013 an event hosted by Tiger \u2013 at Albany, situated in The Bahamas, where he recently left the impression he is back for good.<\/p>\n

In the invitational 18-man field, including 8 of the top 10 ranked golf players, Woods managed to finish joint ninth. More importantly, he completed four rounds without showing any signs of discomfort. Woods remarkably drove distances that exceeded 300 yards from the tee. Although justifiably rusty, onthe greens especially, Woods managed to stitch together 3 below-par rounds, finishing strongly. In addition, he even briefly stayed atop of the leaderboard during the 2nd day.<\/p>\n

Compared to previous comebacks, the latest return was obviously watched with plenty of scepticism by most. After all, there\u2019s more than enough past evidence to believe he underestimated the blows his body endured. He obviously returned than he should have on several occasions and was eventually bed restricted when the pain was simply unbearable.<\/p>\n

Prior to the start of the Hero World Challenge<\/strong><\/a> event, Woods looked extremely happy and discussed several topics in great detail with golf writers. He did not appear tired to answer any questions or appeared to be in a rush to return to his routine before the tournament.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I told most of my friends back home, I missed playing golf. Go out and hit, giggle, and play for denominations while having an enjoyable time. I haven\u2019t done it in over two years. I manage to play 9 holes here and 18 holes there, and then I\u2019m off for 3 days because my back is killing me. So, it feels great to have the ability to do that again, and better yet, to participate in my children\u2019s sports. As you are aware, I love playing sports, and I was raised doing it, so to play with them again is fantastic.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s worth mentioning that most of the elite golfers of today haven\u2019t played with Tiger competitively. They all desired to feel the aura of the golf legend they idolised and wanted to see return to the top while staying healthy. In addition, they all hoped they could win against the legend. Undiscouraged, the victor of 79 PGA Tour titles<\/a><\/strong>, and 14 major championships<\/strong>, opened the day with a three-under 69.<\/p>\n

This was a major improvement from the previous Tiger on five-over 77 in February. Tiger managed to find twelve greens during regulation, hit seven of thirteen fairways, and needed twenty-eight putts within the first round. He was 3 strokes off the lead at this stage. Tiger went a stroke better on Day Two. His 68-card included an eagle on the ninth par-5. The 3rd round was saw conditions being windy conditions<\/strong>, proving a challenge for everyone on the roster, and Tiger, unfortunately, lost his way. He only managed a 75.
\nThe final day saw Tiger with another 68 and ended the tournament with a total of 17 birdies<\/strong>. This outstanding performance boosted his 1199 world ranking to 668<\/strong>. The biggest takeaway from the Hero World Challenge is that Tiger is back on course and healthy.
