Corey Conners, Sudarshan Yellamaraju and Nick Taylor all finished outside the required top 50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Scottie Scheffler <\/strong>won the tournament at 17 under par, while the Canadians saw their playoff runs come to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"conners-finishes-59th\">Conners Finishes 59th<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Corey Conners<\/strong> of Listowel, Ontario, entered the final round hoping to make a late push, but ultimately finished with a relatively quiet round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He opened with a birdie on the par-4 first hole before settling into a run of pars. A bogey on the seventh was immediately followed by a birdie, while another bogey came on the 14th after his tee shot found a bunker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conners finished the tournament at even par and is projected to finish 59th in the FedEx Cup standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>It was not the week I wanted<\/em>\u201d Conners told TSN&#8217;s Bob Weeks after his round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"yellamarajus-strong-start-fades\">Yellamaraju&#8217;s Strong Start Fades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sudarshan Yellamaraju<\/strong>, competing in his first full PGA Tour season, also missed the cut for the BMW Championship despite an encouraging start to the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mississauga, Ontario, golfer was the leading Canadian after two rounds at 5 under, but a 6-over 76 in the third round severely damaged his chances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yellamaraju finished Sunday&#8217;s round with four bogeys, including three over his final six holes. His highlight came on the par-5 16th, where he produced an eagle with an excellent approach shot, but he immediately gave a stroke back with a bogey on the 17th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He finished the tournament at 1 over par and is projected 58th in the FedEx Cup standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obviously the third round was not very good. It kind of shot any chance for myself to move on.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the disappointment, the 25-year-old described his first full PGA Tour campaign as a positive overall, noting that he kept his tour card and competed in major championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"taylor-struggles-in-final-round\">Taylor Struggles in Final Round<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nick Taylor <\/strong>of Abbotsford, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betting.ca\/british-columbia\">British Columbia<\/a>, was the top Canadian heading into Sunday&#8217;s final round after a strong performance on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, he could not build on that momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taylor carded four bogeys and no birdies for a 4-over final round, leaving him at even par for the tournament.
