Garneau said the team has also prepared for unpredictable Montreal weather conditions, which can vary dramatically in late May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>It could be 32 degrees on Saturday. It could be four degrees on Friday. We\u2019re just going to be ready for any weather.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"push-beyond-400000-participants\">Push Beyond 400,000 Participants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite some concerns regarding the new calendar amendments, ticket demand has stayed extremely strong, with grandstand tickets already selling out. Limited hospitality and general admission passes are still available.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizers also chose to expand capacity for a new concert series connected to race weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event\u2019s leadership says lessons learned from the troubled 2024 race have led to significant improvements this year. Last season\u2019s event faced criticism over congestion, flooding, and access problems around the circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Garneau said organizers changed up to 80% of certain operations, including redesigned paddock areas, expanded hospitality spaces, and additional entry points to improve crowd flow on \u00cele Notre Dame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jean Philippe Paradis<\/strong>, president of the Canadian Grand Prix, described the race as Canada\u2019s biggest tourism event, attracting more than 350,000 spectators and roughly 100 million television viewers last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizers are now aiming to push attendance beyond 400,000 while expanding entertainment offerings around the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest wildcard remains the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betting.ca\/hockey\/odds\">Stanley Cup playoffs<\/a>.
